In this class, you will work on the project of your choice with the assistance of a skilled instructor. Finish those many UFO’s or start on a new project with techniques that are unfamiliar to you. This is a great time to learn new techniques and share with other sewing enthusiasts. Bring to class: project with all notions, basic sewing supplies and sewing machine with accessories.

In this class you will learn to use all the accessories that came with your machine. Create a sample book of all the many stitches you will accomplish. We will insert a zipper, make button holes, a blind hem, hem jeans, sew on knit fabric, mend a tear in fabric, and so much more. This class is for the beginner or new machine owner who wants to catch up with all the new notions available to make our sewing easier. Isn’t it time you make a pair of slacks that fit you the way you want them to fit. There’s no reason you need to settle for anything less than perfect, you have the technology and ability. Apply the measurements of your shape to the paper pattern and create a muslin sloper that you can tweak for that perfect fit. You will purchase your pant pattern according to your widest hip measurement. We will make all of the necessary alterations to your pattern before you go to make your finished product. This class has been created for the owners of 5 thread and up sergers. Learn to use your cover stitch feature for more than hemming, play with decorative threads and yarns. Take control of your machine and have fun, our sergers are wonderful machines and the do much more than just seams. You will even make lace using your serger.
