| #5 SEWING MACHINE STRATEGIES

In this class you will learn to use all the accessories that came with your machine. Create a sample book of all the many stitches you will accomplish. We will insert a zipper, make button holes, a blind hem, hem jeans, sew on knit fabric, mend a tear in fabric, and so much more. This class is for the beginner or new machine owner who wants to catch up with all the new notions available to make sewing easier. Bring to class: sewing machine with all accessories, basic sewing supplies and 2 spools thread ( 1 light, 1 dark).

| #7 KNIT TOPS / SERGER CLASS
Take the mystery out creating knit clothing while you make a beautiful, well fitting knit top for yourself. Using your serger, you will make a bound neckline and cuffs for the sleeves. After you complete your first top you will be able to reproduce tops quickly and easily. A supply list will be provided upon registration.

| #15 SERGER WORKSHOP
Take your serger out of the closet, dust it off and come to class to learn how to use it for more than just finishing seams. You will construct a sample book of the many stitches you can accomplish on your serger, such as rolled hem, flatlock, ladder and more. Bring to class: serger with all accessories and manual, threaded with 4 different colored threads, and basic sewing supplies.
